The Jade is Nephrite Jade after Actinolite and the metallic inclusions are Mushketovite, a Pseudomorph of Magnetite after Hematite. This very unique Jade is from one place on Earth; Stoddard Wells, San Bernardino County, California. This is a high grade specimen polished on both sides. What's really fascinating about this material is its possible to electroplate 24 k gold onto the magnetic Mushketovite giving a very aesthetic black and gold appearance.
