Estate found piece likely from the 1980’s. While the wire has a pretty natural patina, the stones show almost no wear. Carnelian stones encased in an ongoing wire cage design. Carnelian is a semi-precious gemstone known for its warm reddish-orange hues, varying from pale pinkish-orange to deep brownish-red. Each carnelian bead in the necklace is unique in shape and size, showcasing the natural variations of the stone. The wire wrapping forms a delicate cage around each bead, connecting them to create the necklace's chain. The necklace is 38” long & designed to be worn as a single strand. The warm tones of the carnelian and the antique finish of the wire give the necklace a retro, bohemian aesthetic.
