This month we visited the garden of Margaret and Robbie Orr at Wollongbar. The visit was postponed a week because of the weather but we chose a great day to visit this garden.
They have a number of cottage gardens surrounding each residence with great view out to the hills behind Lismore. Despite the recent rain there were a large number of plants in flower including salvias, begonia, cats whiskers, medinilla and donkey’s tails both pink and blue. Visitors welcomed the shade provided by a number of large trees on the property.
