May’s garden visit was a return to Suzy Johnson’s property in Cumbalum. We also had the pleasure of visiting her neighbours Andrew and Anna’s garden. Suzies garden is a lovely rural garden where she showcases her artistry in creating pergolas, gates, fencing, landscaping and potting sheds using recycled materials. Her potting shed is a delight festooned with flowering climbers and pots brimming with blooms. She has a delightful little chicken coup smothered with perennials and climbers. There is a thriving veggie garden and new plantation of trees and shrubs for privacy.
We wondered through the gate in the hedge Andrew and Anna’s property. Their property shows Andrew’s talent in building a children’s playground, fire pit, hen house and kitchen garden as well as other trees and shrubs on their property, some of which are grown for sale.
A lovely afternoon tea and chat was enjoyed by all. Thank you Suzie, Andrew and Anna.
