In November our garden visit was to Alison Budock’s Lindendale Garden Lindendale.
When Alison and her husband moved to their 5-acre farm in 2010 there were just bare paddocks, a few trees and a 125 year old house.
Between them they have established a beautiful, interesting plantation with formal and informal areas. Masses of Buxus inspiration in a knot garden and an abundance of topiary everywhere to contrast with the established trees, veggie patch, shrubs and ferns. Buildings include a potting shed, Pavilion and poultry shed give it character and charm.
