We visited Annett Rassow’s garden in the Byron Shire.
Some twenty years ago this house block was a cow paddock and progressively the paddock has been transformed into a artistic dwelling complete with an extensive chook run, an amazing enclosed-escape hutch for the cats to sun themselves, a vegetable patch that is the envy of gardening members and a wonderful explosion of colour and space to enjoy the outdoors.
An artistic hand is prominent in the various embellishments in the garden. Such a delight to see chimney pots redecorated. And those hanging baskets of plants wrought from the fibrous debris from the palm trees.
Such a delight. Thank you Annett for inviting us to your garden sanctuary.
