In March we visited Max Lassen's garden in St Helena.
A huge poinciana in the lawn provided a shady soft ambience for afternoon tea.
Max's garden has many different areas including terracing down to the road where arrays of tropical plants and wonderful groundcovers delight the eye.
His new planting of cannas was admirde by all.
The vegetable garden is quite extensive but a bit ravaged by the recent wet cyclonic conditions.
