This month, we were honored to have Phil Dudman from Gardening Australia, North Coast ABC Saturday morning show, as our guest speaker. Phil, a garden writer, workshop leader, and garden tour guide, provided us with a Master Class on Pruning.
Before Phil’s presentation, we took care of the usual club matters efficiently thanks to the committee.
The Flora of the Month showcase featured a small but beautifully cultivated selection of plants:
- Steven Wedd – Pink, white, and mauve Chrysanthemums.
- Julia Bambery – A Vanda orchid native to the Philippines.
Phil Dudman’s talk was both educational and entertaining. His engaging speaking style captivated us all, and we greatly appreciate his presence at our club. As always, Phil joined us for our renowned afternoon tea.
