This month we visited Astrid’s garden in Coorabell. This is a lovely country garden on approximately 1 acre sitting on a windy ridgeline but has been carefully designed to maximise the shelter from the house walls. It has great views over the surrounding farmland.
It has a mixture of large gum and other native trees mixed with some frangipani, citrus and mango trees, camellias and other smaller plants. It has a great collection of staghorn ferns and multipe bromeliad features. We even managed to spot a pair of tawny frogmouths.
